Garry has an amazing ability to get used to a noise and learn to sleep right through it. So, invariably, after we have a baby, one morning he wakes up and says:
Wow! Did she sleep through the night!
And me, who was up at one, four, and then six (and for an hour at 4, to boot), well, I start looking for sharp objects to throw.

I know that feeling!! When Lance sleeps he's dead to the world.
Yep, Lincoln had "night deafness" also!
I confess I was the super sleeper. Add that to my "mommy guilt" when Dave would bring the crying baby to me because I didn't hear them. Oh well, that's why we're a team. He never sleeps anyways, so someone should get a good night's rest.
I confess, I can be a heavy sleeper. But in my defense, Molly doesn't really cry at night. She just grunts and Alicia hears her and gets up to tend to her needs like a good mom. And Molly loves you for it :)
Great suck-up Garry!
My husband did the same thing in the beginning. Now the roles have reversed since Gavin moved into his own room. I don't hear him - but Jhonny does - wierd.
