Woo Hoo Emma!

Last Sunday I got up and Emma had set up the table. She put a blanket on the table for a decorative table cloth (I have since run out to Target to get her a more appropriate-kid-friendly option), placed big plates out for the big kids (parents) and little plates for the little kids, and set out spoons, forks and butter knives. She also got out two different selections of juice and little cups for the little kids and big glasses for the big kids. I credit my sister with this extreme creativity. I am not sure Emma saw a table cloth very often until we started hanging out with Aunt Rachelle!

we ate at my sister-on-laws and my kid's were confused by non-paper napkins. I was mortified, but I guess I could use a little more class as well. Maybe I could use Emma's help

Not to put a damper on this grand event or anything but enjoy it while it lasts! One day she will moan and groan, nash her teeth, weep and wail. All becasue you asked her to set the table not because she is on the wild road staight to hell. My favorite quote form my kids (yes they all said it), "I can't my legs are broken!" The flailing about on the floor was priceless!
