When the previous owners of Esperanza moved out, they took everything of value with them. All furniture, all appliances, even the showerheads and light-switch plates. So if we are going to move in, we have a lot of shopping to do.We had to measure a few of the spaces, especially for the refrigerator and range, and so we got the key from the listing agent. There was an extra key in the kitchen, and she told us to just keep both of them.
For those keeping track, we have permission to rent and possess the home (we hope to move two weeks from today), we have permission to use the address and check the mailbox (I had to register Emma for kindergarten) and now we have the keys. The only thing we do not have is a final buying price. Little details, little details.
But, progress is progress, and I am grateful.

Hey Alicia. I don't know how far down you'll read your comments, so I stuck it here. Seriously, if you put on a few pounds maybe you are approaching normal! You are one of the thinnest people I know. Go eat that brownie girl. Embrace the weight! That being said, I ate at an all you can pizza buffet tonight and consumed way to much food including desert pizza and brownies! I hope you guys get your house soon and I'm glad your soccer team is crushing everyone! Miss you guys!
