Kids Say The Darndest Things

Emma: I hate boys!
Mom: No you don't; Dad's a boy.
Emma: Well, I love him anyway.

Emma: Excuse me, I tooted.
Macey: No, Emma, I think it was me.
Mom: Macey, if Emma wants to claim it, let it go.

Macey: Oh, crap.
Dad: Macey, we do not say crap.
Macey: But Mama says it ALL THE TIME.

Mom: Macey, you can not take your pie (pacifier) to school today. Those are for babies and you are a big girl!
Macey: I don't wanna big a big girl. I wanna be a big boy!

Emma, in the bathroom, before their bath.
Emma: Macey, look at my butt. Did I get the poo-poo all out?

Dad: Emma, I need you to start putting away your toys.
Emma: No, Dada, you can do it. I know you can!
Dad: Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Mom: Emma, I need you to put your shoes in the closet.
Emma: No, that's okay, they can stay right there.
Stunned Silence.

Mom: Ugh, something in here stinks.
Emma: I'm sorry, is it me?

At 5 a.m.
Emma: Mom, I just gotta tell you something.
Mom: whhhaaatttt???
Emma: Macey hit me and so she shouldn't get any bunny (Nesquik) tomorrow morning.
Mom: For the love, go to sleep!

Mom (after hearing Macey scream in fustration): Emma, be nice! Emma: Mom, I don't wanna be nice. Mom: Well, at least she's honest.

Mom: Emma, get off of your sister! You're hurting her! Emma: Ah, Mom, I'm just giving her a hug!
