I Do Worry About. . .

There's one thing that I worry about before each and every baby. It's kind of petty, but I worry about the increased laundry.

We're about to become a family of 6 and sometimes that overwhelms me. So for the last two weeks, to get into the swing of things, I have really tried to do at least a load of laundry everyday so that it does not get backed up and overwhelming. I love my family, I love where I am now in life, but sometimes I flash back to my single days when laundry "day" was just that -- one day every so often -- and I smile.

But I do not know what is worse -- doing a load of laundry everyday or just doing a lot once or twice a week?

I have always had a laundry "day" even when we were 6! I just couldn't imagine myself doing it every day. Monday was and still is my day to turn the mountain of dirty clothes into a mountain of clean folded ones, and then it is done for the week! (barring any emergencies :)

i think it's easier to do it every day. it gets too overwhelming to do it all in one day (esp. since i'm working most days). what's more overwhelming is sorting laundry. you could go one of two ways--put a 3-slot (lights, darks, colds) hamper in the hallway for everyone to use and then do a load every day and sort it out, or do one person's (or if two share a room, then their laundry on the same day) laundry every day

Well, there you go! Two sides of the coin!
