Oh Nursery

At the end of September, Braden turned 18 months old and was ready for nursery!  He had already spent a lot of Sundays there but since he was not of the legal age, we felt inclined to stay in there with him.  But, hooray! it was finally time for his solo debut at nursery!

He loves this little teeter totter.  Last Sunday a little girl got to it first.  It was the worst day ever in nursery for the poor little guy.

I substituted in Nursery last Sunday. Haven't been in there for quite some time. As an "older" mother I began to wonder how did they come up with the age of 18 months for the age to begin nursery? Seriously these kids can't sit still for 5 seconds and your supposed to teach them a lesson?!? But then I remembered having that almost 18 month old and thinking "Yeah! Nursery is coming soon! I can finally learn something at church now!" (ha ha jokes on me- ended up serving in Nursery!)

So little Nursey children, run and be free in Nursery your parents will love you more at the end of the Church service day! And HUGE kudos to all Nursery Leaders wherever and whenever you have served!
