Midway Ice Castles

We have become rather domesticated here in Utah. Instead of weekend outings to Kings Dominion Amusement Park, Saturdays here usually mean trips to the grocery store and lunch with the grandparents.

So we are going to try to make more of an effort to get out and about with the kids. Last Saturday we drove to Midway to see the Ice Castles. They are huge ice structures that you can walk through and around. I expected a ton of snow and frigid temps and so I dressed the girls in snow pants and snow jackets and snow boots. It was warm there! (A little disconcerting to have the structure melt on you while walking through. . .we walked fast.)
Molly thought it was fun but was not crazy about walking through it.
